With a 14-year professional football career under his belt, Jamie is now deeply committed to guiding and supporting fellow professional athletes, guiding individuals through their financial and retirement needs with a sense of relatability and purpose.
Hailing from the Preston North End youth academy, Jamie left an indelible mark with 15 youth-team goals in the 2008–09 season and an FA Youth Cup triumph over football powerhouses Manchester City and Sunderland. This provided a glimpse into the tenacity that would define his career.
Fast forward to January 2010, a young Jamie inked a 3-year professional contract under the watchful eye of manager Darren Ferguson. His debut in the 2009–10 Championship season was just the prelude to a narrative rife with highs and lows, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Jamie's trajectory meandered through the intricate paths of English football, from the pinnacle of signing with Premier League giant Swansea City to the relentless battles faced at League One outpost Crawley Town. Each chapter brought its own lessons, tests of character, and opportunities for Jamie to showcase his drive and passion.
While Jamie continued to find success on the pitch, he also pursued a degree in sports journalism and business, planting the seeds of a coaching academy in Preston in 2020—a testament to his commitment to professional and technical development.
Amidst his football pursuits, Jamie embraced fatherhood in 2018, a milestone that only fueled his passion for making a lasting impact.
The turning point arrived with his move to Port Vale in July 2021. A beacon of resilience, Jamie played an instrumental role in clinching promotion via the play-offs in 2022. His on-field heroics, including a scissor-kick volley echoing Paolo Di Canio's brilliance, garnered accolades and the coveted Goal of the Season award.
